Los Tigres del Norte are a legendary family norteño band from Mexico based in California. Since the late 1960s, they have turned traditional accordion-driven norteño music into mainstream success while telling stories about immigration, love, hardship, and social issues.

Their 1974 hit Contrabando y Traición launched them internationally and helped shape the narcocorrido genre. With over 70 albums, 22 number-one records, multiple Grammy Awards, and historic performances like their 2019 concert at Folsom Prison, they remain one of the most influential groups in Regional Mexican music history.
